The Community Players(as we were earlier known)came about from plays put on by Ben's students at the school where he taught. Little by little, parents and other adults joined in(which was the object all along). It was sure neat to see members of the community show an interest in helping out. As we gained momentum, more organization was needed, and in 1992 a formal Board of Directors was formed. Our geographical borders have expanded over the years, and we now are blessed with members from Mt. Pleasant almost to Big Rapids.
